Day 3: July 3, Mon - Hume Lake

Agenda for the day:
==============
Get up
Eat breakfast
Packup tents and checkout of campsite
Go to Sandy Cove Beach - Have fun!
Eat lunch
Drive back to Sunnyvale

(Breakfast & Lunch preparations under way at Hume Lake Campsite)

(We made sandwiches for breakfast and avalakki for lunch)

(Fried peanuts and fresh-cut vegetables)

(Surya & Shivanna getting water from the nearby tap)

After breakfast, we packed up and checked out of the camp. The drive to Sandy Cove beach was just 10 minutes. Hume Lake is a man-made lake and was apparently used for lumber transportation in 1930's. Now it's just a recreation lake.

After swimming in Hume Lake for a while, we made a stop at PowderCan Picnic area to eat lunch. And then headed back to Sunnyvale at around 3pm. On the way, we stopped at a vista point to see Kings Canyon. Pictures below show Kings Canyon and the Sierra's in the background.

I am completely overwhelmed at the attention to detail as far as "petpooja" in the desi estyle is concerned. Looks like over all you guys had a good time.
